The Core i7 would normally be expected to be seen in a gamers PC and even servers, but Eurocom have fitted it into their D900F Phantom i7 are shipping these laptops as from the 1st May. The core i7 will run at any speed from 2.66 GHz to 3.2 GHz and includes a cache of 8 Mb.

The Gateway P-7811FX is Gateway’s first retail laptop available only through Best Buy. It’s a little older, but I thought it was worth taking a look at because its specs and design are really holding up against some really recent additions to the laptop market.
