The Lenovo Idea Pad S12 launch is delayed

The nice looking S12 with NVIDIA ION from Lenovo looks as if it is going to be delayed until the launch of Windows 7 from Microsoft in October, this is just the latest in a long line of delays that has led us to this point where anyone waiting for one of these machines. To make the whole thing even more confusing, it is believed that Lenovo is planning several versions of the ION powered S12.

MSI launches the Wind U210

The Wind U200 is still to make it into Europe, but strangely, MSI have decided to launch two variants of the U200, the MSI Wind U210-002 and the MSI Wind U210-010 these are basically the same apart from the memory.

MSI 12.1” U200 on sale in Europe

Europeans including me, can now pre-order the fantastic MSI 12.1 inch U200, unfortunately so far is it only available in Germany, but we live in hope! The advertising is currently showing a delivery time of around three to four weeks, which is not that long.

HP Pavilion 12.1 inch laptop

Considering that this laptop is only a 12.1 inch machine and that it combines tablet PC & laptop features this is a laptop that provides the user with so much that it is difficult to know where to start. The basics are a display that twists around 180 degrees, fold down to make a tablet and even surf the internet using the touch screen feature.

The A2 from iiView

This is an interesting from iiView who are based in Singapore, it is called the A2. As you can see from the only image around that is does look like an Apple MacBook Air. It does look like a very nice computer but until we get more information, we will have to make do with the specs.

The Lenovo Ideapad S12

This is a twelve inch mini laptop, its looks nice with a glossy casing and is being placed in the market place at the same level as the Samsung NC20. But when compared there is little to choose from with regards to which is the better model, when it comes to size, performance, battery life, weight and display there is little to choose between the two. When it comes to price, it would seem that there is only around $50 difference!

The Lenovo online shop has put the 12″ IdeaPad pages up and therefore we are assuming that these little stars are available for home delivery as soon as the orders have been processed. This is a nice machine that promises to deliver a well rounded service to buyers.

Lenovo launch ION mini laptop

The official launch of the first ION based mini laptop from Lenovo is imminent, but already there are some facts and figures around, but not too much to go on. However, in the mean time, we do have some snippets of info like it will be using a 1.6 GHz N270 Intel Atom processor with a twelve inch display.

Price cuts for the HP Pavilion dv2

The Pavilion dv2 from HP was one of the first laptops to sport the latest AMD processor, the Athlon Neo, it is supposed to compete with the Atom from Intel, but that is another question. What is interesting there are some serious prices cuts, the standard price being $750, but on Amazon, there is a $50 rebate being offered, yet that is not enough Staples are offering it for just $600.
