MSI appear to be a few steps ahead of the competition with the imminent launch of the Wind U270 at the CES 2011. It is not because the laptop is mega fast or cool, but simply because it will be using the latest Zacrate processor from AMD. This makes the U270 a very interesting proposal and in fact, there is even a video on YouTube that should show how cool this laptop is and exactly how good the new processor from AMD can perform. Here are the known specs and features for the new MSI Wind U270; 11.6 inch 1366 x 768 pixel resolution display, with a 1.6 GHz Zacate processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a 320 GB hard drive. other features will include a VGA output, two USB 2.0 ports, a single super fast USB 3.0 socket, a Kensington lock port, a handy 4 in 1 card reader, Ethernet jack and it would seem a traditional chiclet keyboard, along with a split mouse button and a track pad No details of prices or availability yet Source [Engadget] a AMD Zacrate Processor, MSI Laptops, MSI U270
a

There is one thing about MSI and that is they don’t just sit and allow the equipment to sell itself until everyone has seen enough of it, they keep updating their current stock with newer and more interesting versions. In fact it is hard to keep up with all of the changes that take place sometimes, although we do try our best. This is the new GE600 it has been designed with gamers in mind and they have hit the spot with this one, its sixteen inch display is adequate as well as the specs, however the main thing that we are interested in is the price, which MSI are apparently keeping to themselves for the moment!
