Sony VAIO VGN-Z590 Reviews and Specs

sony-vaio-vgn-z590

Since Sony started making the VAIO line of laptops in the late ’90s, they have been superior business and play machines. And with the newest laptop offering, the Sony VAIO VGN-Z590, not much has changed as far as superior products go. In terms of specs though, the new Sony VAIO VGN-Z590 has some killer additions.

First and foremost, the Z590 is ultraportable, weighing in at 3.2-pounds. And with such a small frame, reviewers all over the net are blown away by the amount of gadgetry stu

Samsung NC10 Netbook Review!

samsung-nc10-2

Samsung has recently introduced their new netbook to the U.S. market.  (In the past, we haven’t really seen any of Samsung laptops in the U.S. which I believe is due to unpopularity.  But they are popular all over Asia)

The Samsung NC10 looks really good with almost exact specs as the new ASUS Eee PC 1000HA (which we recommend).  The only difference is that the NC10 comes with bluetooth which ASUS Eee PCs don’t.  (That’s not a big advantage though, you can always buy a $20 bluetooth unit and add it to the Eee PC)

Recommended Netbook of the Week – ASUS Eee PC 1000HA Review!

eee-pc-1000ha-7

ASUS Eee PC 1000HA is probably the best Eee PC netbook you will buy currently, equipped with 160GB of storage, Intel Atom N270 1.6Ghz processor, Windows XP, WiFi, Ethernet, and Webcam all packed into just 3.19 pounds of netbook flesh.

Of course, this is the preferred laptop over its 1000HD predecessor.  If you are thinking about buying an Eee PC or a netbook in general, I think this 1000HA is going to be the best deal you will get, equipped with all the necessary features for a road-warrior.

Here’s the specs for the ASUS Eee PC 1000HA

Toshiba Tecra R10 Review

r10-5

Toshiba rolls out the Tecra R10 along with the other Portege A600 (read the review).  What I like most about this R10 laptop without even looking at specs is how large the cooling metal fins are on the side of the laptop.

One of the biggest problems with bigger, performance laptops in the past have been problems with CPU cooling.  With great advances in CPU technology, manufacturers usually put a CPU fan that will last just over a year, causing the laptop to bre

Toshiba Portege A600 Review

a600-5

Toshiba rolls out a new 12.1″ widescreen laptop loaded with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU9300, 3GB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz SDRAM, 160GB HDD, DVD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD, and webcam.

Toshiba’s new Portege A600 will allow you to watch HD movies except there’s one important thing missing, there’s no DVI outputs for connecting to your HDTV.  If that’s something you don’t care about, this is a great laptop but still, I’d have to say the pricing is a little bit higher than it’

Compaq Presario CQ50Z Review

compaq-presario-cq50z

For power users who need a new laptop every year, spending $2000 annually will not be a great way to budget your money.  Instead, I highly suggest to get a modest laptop equipped with the latest CPU processors.

Now, one of the laptops that come to my mind is the Compaq Presario CQ50Z.  Ever since HP has acquired Compaq, they have continually rolled out great, affordable laptop for your average regular joe.

Don’t get me wrong though, if you don’t own a desktop, these low-priced laptops might not be for you but if you are only us
