Unlike many other computer makers, Dell have been tinkering with their price list and come up with a budget line of computers that start at a reasonable $619. It is not that bad for all of that computer and from a respected maker. The specs are pretty impressive when considering the competition.

An interesting development has occurred with the computer company Dell announcing that they will be supplying their Inspiron mini 10 in Japan, it is slightly updated from the original version and so offers the Japanese market an opportunity to have a look at what Dell are made of.

The long term legal case over the term “NetBook” continues with Intel coming out and basically calling Psion liars over the amount of netbooks that the Psion claim to have sold since 2003. Psion have written to the likes of Dell and Intel stating that the name netbook is owned by Psion and has been for a long time.
It has taken a while but finally the details are out on the new Dell Adamo and pretty impressive they are too. Although as with all Dell computers there are plenty of options that can really hike up the price to a level that you may not be expecting, so it’s wise to be careful when clicking away at all of those lovely extras.

There is a sure way for computer makers to make more money and that it to take their product glam it up a bit, call it special or limited edition and add $50 to $100 to the price tag. Well maybe I was a little cynical there. Any way Dell are bringing out a special edition of the Studio Line 15.4 inch laptop, they have thrown in special paintwork and a choice of three trims.
It may not be much but the Dell 1410 is a fairly user friendly machine and because of this there are millions of sales each year. To this end the company has decided to offer some upgrades to the 1410, they may not be anything special when compared to other machines that are available but never the less getting something extra is always a great thing, isn’t it?
