The warning signs were there for all to see when in December last year, Dell cut the price of the super slim Adamo laptop to just $899 despite having a $1,999 price at its launch in 2009. However, this must have been just a way of clearing the company stock. This luxury laptop started off well but soon other factors came into play and the Adamo was struggling, the luxury market had changed and Dell have to adapt, so the Adamo will be no more, it seems that there is a chance of picking up a bargain here too, as Dell attempt to clear it stock of Adamo’s. These are the details for the about to be discontinued Dell Adamo slim laptop; At only 0.65 inch thick this machine offers a 13.4 inch WLED display 1366 x 768 resolution, 2.1 GHz Core 2 Duo SL9600 processor, a 64-bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium operating system, 4 GB of DDR3-800 memory, comes with 128 GB SSD, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR and a 40 WHr Lithium Polymer battery. Current Price $899 Source [Cnet] a adamo, cut, dell, Dell Adamo, Laptop News
a

Could this be the thinnest laptop around? Well when it eventually comes out it could be because the latest incarnation of the Adamo XPS from Dell is said to be just 9.9 mm thick, which is very thin indeed. However, forget thin, this laptop is super cool, although as with Dell, the price starts off all right. However, once you have configured it to suits your needs then the price begins to creep up. Specs – 1.4 GHz Intel ULV processor, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, 128 GB solid state drive (SSD), 13.4 inch HD display, resolution of 1,366 x 728, two USB 2.0 ports, a headphone jack and a mini display port. On sale for Christmas 2009 from $1,799. UPDATE: Now AVAILABLE at DELL HERE! Source [Tech Fresh] a Dell Adamo, super thin laptop, the dell adamo xps
a
