The warning signs were there for all to see when in December last year, Dell cut the price of the super slim Adamo laptop to just $899 despite having a $1,999 price at its launch in 2009. However, this must have been just a way of clearing the company stock. This luxury laptop started off well but soon other factors came into play and the Adamo was struggling, the luxury market had changed and Dell have to adapt, so the Adamo will be no more, it seems that there is a chance of picking up a bargain here too, as Dell attempt to clear it stock of Adamo’s.
