Sometimes trying to show people a video on the laptop, smartphone or cell phone can be a little crowed, so how different would that be with a portable projector that can project those images or videos onto the ceiling or the wall. This device uses DLP technology from Texas Instruments; it fits into the palm of your hand or can be placed on the side for a steadier picture.
a

There are many reasons for wanting to have a secret video, most of them are legal and normally revolve around security issues, but there is a reason for having a hidden camera and that is you are able to catch people off guard going about their normal daily routines. This may not sound like anything much, but it is under these conditions when things happen. Whether it is an accident or just a practical joke gone wrong, catching these antics on camera could help you build a portfolio of movies all made and owned by you, now that has got to be worth something. Features of the video camera pen: At 640 x 480 resolution, up to five hours of AVI video and up to 20,000 JPEG images can be captured and stored in the pen’s integrated 4 GB memory. Its lithium battery provides up to two hours of power before requiring a recharge from the included USB adapter or the included AC adapter; the pen’s built-in USB 2.0 port allows you to download videos when connected to a Mac or PC running Windows 7, Vista, or XP. The pen is refillable. 5 1/2″ L. (1 oz.)
In this day and age, it seems that advertising makes all of the differences when it comes to sales. The more informative they are seems to be out of favour, the current marketing trend is to create advertising that gets people talking, even if the materials has nothing to do with the product itself. To this end, both Asus and Samsung have come up with innovative ideas for their campaigns, suddenly the product makes a sort of guest appearance in the advert while the main thrust is something funny or amusing. This is used to great effect by Samsung to promote the N310 laptop the colourful cases come to life but still look to be part of the computer, it is cool.
Sad day! It’s official, Apple has added a new form of copy protection to it’s MacBooks. That means no fun TV nights for most everyone. Sorry gang. Looks like Apple users and copyright advocates are getting up and saying something, more news as that all unfolds. It seems this whole XO laptop craze isn’t ending anytime soon. Oh, that’s not a bad thing, wither. It was announced today that NFL QB Tom Brady will be buying 1,500 of the little netbooks, which he will send off to Uganda. Excellent move Tommy Boy. Dude! Bad news for Dell. The computer giant posted a 5% drop in net income and a 3% decline in revenue for its fiscal third quarter, the WSJ reported. Looks like the once mighty supplier of all notebooks will need to do a little rebranding and mix up the market a little bit if they want to keep doing what they’re doing. Today’s How To is relatively simple, but it may not be something a lot of you laptop lovers might have tried. Today, you will learn how to use an XBox 360 to stream media from a laptop. That means all those great movies you have on … Continue reading →
a

The folks over at Laptop Magazine got their hands on the new Samsung X460 ultra-portable notebook this week. And much to the chagrin of the Engadget crew, Laptop Mag has a hands-on video and some early thoughts on the machine. It seems the X460 has a lot to offer, and with a starting price of $1,700, that means lots of specs for even more value. The Intel Pentium Duo P8400 will help boot Vista faster. The huge 14.1″ display is getting point all over the net for its brightness and clarity. Plus, the sleek design makes it a nice notebook to look at. Overall, it looks like this will stack up to be one fantastic machine. While thare is a lot of good, Laptop Mag has a little about what’s missing, saying: Although the X405 isn’t really lacking in the features department, it is missing some things that other premium notebooks have. For example, many business portables have integrated mobile broadband (at least as an option). However, it’s easy to add a plug-in modem to the ExpressCard slot. The lack of Firewire may irk some but we could care less, since most camcorders now have USB connectivity.
Download latest version of Flash to view video!. Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode Here’s a video of China’s HiVision $98 Linux Mini-laptop equipped with a MIPS processor, 1GB flash drive, and some more basic features. I do like this small Linux system as it’s versatile for doing a lot for less. Of course, having a Google Chrome Browser on these mini-laptops would be extra special. HiVision makes the worlds cheapest Linux laptop at $98 using a new cheaper MIPS based processor (perhaps the Longsoon or the Ingenic), WiFi, 1GB flash storage, it runs Linux, has 3 USB ports, Ethernet, SDHC card reader, audio in and out, voice-chat, skype, multi-tabbed Firefox browser support and Abiword for word processing. Automatic and secure online software updates. Their current model is running a smooth and pretty snappy Linux user interface. In this video, I got to borrow a review sample of the laptop overnight, and I try to show you all the browser and other software interfaces in this extended video review of this cheap MIPS based laptop. Embedded is the way that I hope that most cheap laptops are going to be based on in the near future, Google will … Continue reading →
a

Check out the new Fujitsu FMV-U8240, it looks pretty amazing but only thing I am afraid of is price and availability. Right now the UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC) is getting quite popular, but companies like Toshiba (Libretto 50/70/100) or Sony (Vaio U) have been offering such products for quite a long time, leading the category. As usual the first versions were pretty expensive, until Microsoft decided to turn to the UMPC as a “standard”, therefore opening the door to other companies… as a result, the choice is wider, and from 900 to 2000€ (appx 1200 – 2700$) most of us can find something to match our needs. Among those is the all-new Fujitsu FMV-U8240. via akihabara a akihabara, fujitsu, fujitsu fmv, Fujitsu Laptops, Laptop News, Laptop Reviews, Laptop Video, long time, microsoft, mobile pc, netbook, sony, sony vaio, toshiba, toshiba libretto 50, UMPC
a

This is a neat little computer. Perfect as a travel companion. Small and lightweight. I like it in white. Reminds me of my MacBook. via coolwebb a ASUS Netbooks, eee pc, Laptop News, Laptop Reviews, Laptop Video, little computer, macbook, travel companion, video review
a
