ZDnet is reporting HP plans to intor a new battery that can last for three years without degradation. I’ll believe it when I see it, but the idea is neat.

PC World has it that Fujitsu Siemens will joining the mobile broadband initiative, a group focused on bringing mobile broadband to laptops and other devices.

Should Portable Storage be on your Christmas list?

Last year, my favorite gift was a 750 GB Western Digital External Hard Drive. I keep my music and movie collection on it, as well as photo and document backups. It helps me keep my MacBook clean. But, it’s big and bulky and I can’t really lug it around with me.

Apple unleashes new OSX developer build

Ars Technia first turned me on to the new developer build for Mac OSX is out there.

Looks like the build has over 100 fixes, but Apple is still asking for input concerning Mail.
